How to order

HOW TO ORDER

STEP 1 Choose Your Service Level

1. Determine which editing service you need—proofreading ($.02 per word) or editing ($.04 per word) for documents 15,000 words and less—by reading the information on the Services page.

STEP 2 Email Your Document and Requirements

Email us your Word document as an email attachment. We will respond during our regular office hours: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (EST), Monday through Friday; 7:00 am to 1:00 pm (EST) Saturday. We are closed on Sunday.

Also include in your email any requirements you have in addition to the type of service you require. We will review your order and email you back if we have additional questions. If you like, we can send you a quote.

If we don’t have any questions, we will then email you an invoice for either our proofreading or editing services.

Please note:

  • We will protect your copyright. No documents are distributed to anyone other than your editor; no papers are saved longer than 30 days from the date that the order is closed; after 30 days, they are removed from cloud/computers using a shredding software.
  • We will protect your intellectual property.

STEP 3 Review Your Invoice

We email you an invoice. If everything is as you expected, please pay the invoice (see below).

If you have any questions about the order, please email us.

STEP 4 Make Your Payment

When you receive your invoice, it will have a payment button. Our payment platform accepts all major credit, debit, prepaid, or gift cards that bear Visa, MasterCard or AMEX trademarks. All invoices must be paid before we begin work.

As soon as we receive notification of payment, we will start proofreading/editing your document.

Should you encounter any problems with payment, please contact us, so it does not delay work on your document.

STEP 5 Relax, Your Editing Team is at Work

Your professional editing team is now working on your document.

Within five business days (Monday through Friday) of all documents under 15,000 words, we will return two copies of your edited document: Copy 1 will be a clean copy with all changes made accepted; Copy 2 will be your document with tracked changes so that you can see the edits we have made and review each/all changes before you accept each or all changes.

We will leave a summary of changes along with specific comments about our work.

Should you have any questions about your document, our services, or payment, please contact us.
